The Herald Returns
Wednesday, February 10th @10am Central (UTC-6)
There will be 2 more pledges for the Herald of the Deep pledge level!
We were blown away that the original 2 pledges sold out in only a matter of minutes when we launched. Dawnbreaker Dice is known for exceptional work and loyal fans but even they were surprised at how fast those sets went.
So, after a discussion with them, we are now able to offer 2 more pledges of the Herald.
Character Name Poll Is Up
The vote for the name/title of the newest character for Cult of the Deep is up! You have until Wednesday, February 10th @Midnight Central Time (UTC-6).
Just so everyone knows, we will be moving to doing updates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It will stay that way likely until the last week before the Kickstarter ends. We'll be sharing art as well as some closer looks at some of the Characters, Rituals, and Sigils.
Go vote and let us know which of the names you like the best for the abilties debuted a few days ago. The poll will close Wedenesday, February 10 @10pm Central (UTC-6).

Social Stretch Goals - Update
BGG Voting - Valiant Effort
Sadly, we didn't make 5th place in voting but it was close. We were able to narrow the lead down subsantially and with a bit of a push or a bit more time we could have made it. However, being in 6th place is not bad at all for our first time out. Thank you all for your support!

It hasn't even been a week and we are more than 25% done with this stretch goal. Keep sharing, keep letting people know about the game and we'll definitely unlock an alternate version of a character at this rate. Good work!

Another stretch goal completed!
The tokens and the Altar Boards in Cult of the Deep will be upgraded.
All tokens in the base game (Life Tokens, Chant Coins, Siren Coins, Necromancer Coins) will be increased in thickness from 1.5mm to 2mm.
The Life Tokens and the Altar Boards will gain UV spotting.
The Clear Acrylic Life Tokens Add-on will be getting an upgrade in thickness from 2mm to 4mm.
3rd Stretch Goal Is...
The next stretch goal is set at $25,000. We will unlock a brand new Ritual and Sigil Card for all games of Cult of the Deep!
WhatareSigils?
Every player at the beginning of the game is given a secret power. It is so powerful in fact that it may only be used once per game. This is a Sigil Card.
These cards provide incredible moments for players to change the course of a game. However, be careful. Other players have Sigils too that can be quite powerful. So wield this power wisely.

You all have been fantastic!
Heading into the weekend, we have funded over $20,000, unlocked 2 versions of a completely new character for the game, are less than $300 away from our next stretch goal, and thanks to you, we are 19 votes away from securing 5th place in the Unofficial BGG Most Anticipated Game of 2021 - Party Category!
Note: If we fund the stretch goal tonight, we will make a post in the morning to reveal the next stretch goal.
Last Chance for BGG voting
As mentioned we are only 19 votes away from 5th place in the Most Anticipated Games of 2021 - Party Category. If we get 5th, we'll be adding a second version of the Merchant character into the game. Grab your friends, let others know, because we are in striking range of taking it.
For our other social stretch goal of 1000 clicks, we have made good progress. We made it to 207/1000 clicks. We jumped 87 clicks in one day. Thank you for sharing it and it shows!

First Stretch Goal - Complete!
We did it!
We have unlocked a new character with two versions to go into Cult of the Deep! We are currently working on a poll to have you, our backers, vote on what the name of the new character should be. For those who missed it, we are reposting the abilities below. The character is based on the idea of copy, transform, mimic, or impersonates another character. If you have any ideas and you haven't posted them yet, please do so in the comments below so we can consider them for the community poll.
2 versions of the new character
Second Stretch Goal - $20,500

#1) There is an unofficial BGG's Most Anticipated Games of 2021 competition where members of the community can vote by category the most aniticipated games coming up. They said we can bribe people so...here it is.
We have been nominated and have been doing well in the "Party" category for BGG. We are currently in 6th place and with some votes we can move into 5th place. If we do that, we will unlock an alternate version of one of the base game characters. We just need to have all the votes in by end of day February 6th.
